It’s enough to make ghosts cry

이 작품은 석관 초등학교 3학년 12명의 아이들이 작품을 만들고 실행하는 퍼포머가 되었다. 그들은 우리 주위를 둘러싼 쓰레기들에 대해 의문과 호기심을 제기하고 직접 몸을 부딪쳐 다닌다. 자신들의 추억이 담겨있지만 이제 버려야 할 시점에 온 각자의 물건들을 가지고, 미리 그들이 쓰레기가 되어 가게 될 장소들을 방문하였다. 쓰레기 매립장, 재개발되는 석관시작, 고물상 등을 다니면서 만난 장소와 버려진 물건들, 안녕을 고하게 될 나의 물건과 함께 체험했던  것들이 퍼포먼스를 이룬다. 무대위에서 그들을 위한 마지막 제사를 올린다.

This work was made together with 12 children (third-grade) from Suk-Kwan elementary school. We questioned about the waste all around our environment. We brought each one’s special objects that has some part of one’s memory at the same time that have to be thrown away because of its useless. Then we followed up the expected route of the waste. We visited junk shop, old market which turned to local waste areas, and huge landfill of waste. All of our experience is shown in short intro film and became elements in the performance. Children made a last rituals for the waste objects before saying good-bye.
